Today was our first boating trip of the year! It was way fun but a little hard. We were breaking in Jacob and Breeann for our summer full of boat rides, and they kind of had a hard time. They both made sure someone was holding them at all times or they would though a fit. I held Breeann most of the time and she was clinging to me like a cat would when their scared. However towards the end and I really mean towards the end she started loosening up. Jacob wasn't bad he just was unsure of sitting by himself but when he was held he had a really good time. Hopefully next time they will do better which I'm sure they will



Ken was the only one that got in the water today, it was a pretty windy day so I had no desire to water ski I'm sure next time though.

I don't drive the boat too often, I usually let Ken do all that but I decided to give it a go today.

Jacob, Breeann and I went to feed ducks today. we had a really good time. Jacob can actually spend hours and possibly even days at a pond or lake throwing rocks and or whatever in it. It's funny to me how kids can be intertained by the simplest things in life. Breeann had fun too doing the same thing as Jacob ( she loves her brother and will do everything he does) she's like Jacob's "shadow" is a good way to put it in words. There were some really cute ducklings, they were really fun to watch

First time swimming.

So I took Jacob and Breeann swimming at the Vegetarians pool yesterday. I didn't take any pictures, yes I know I'm a bad mom. Anyway, I was completely surprised on how well they did. Jacob was dunking himself every chance he got and sometimes I would have to chase after him to stay close to me. I took him on the big slides a couple of times and he loved it! Breeann ( at first ) was really not into the water, I gave her about 45 min and then she was all over the place too. she would get dunked every now and then and I would have to sooth her for a minute and in no time she was right back out there playing on her own again. The slide she did not like. Oh well maybe I'll take her a few more times and perhaps she will like it by then.

So we went to Florida this year and we want to go back ( we might in September)!

Jacob had a awesome time at the beach he played in a big sand hole almost the whole time, if he would of had a choice he would of been there the whole time but he spent some time in the waves with daddy too and had fun. Breeann however was a different story, she did not like the beach at all, I had to go to the park off the beach with her just for her to be happy. So needless to say we were not at the beach long and we did not go back even though that we had planned to go for two days.

We had a blast here at Busch Gardens, it was warm but there were places to cool off in the water. The animal sites were wonderful and if you know Jacob you know how much he loves animals. The rides were very thrilling I loved it. I guess I can just say for all you Utahns it was Lagoon on steriods:)

We had a really good time at Sea World, in fact so much we went twice. The Dolphin and Whale show was fantastic the fish were fun to see and the rides were great. The first time we went it was super hot but the second time it rained to whole time we did not mind though the rain was warm and so was the tempature it was a perfect day to go.

So this year I want to take Jacob and Breeann swimming a lot. Last year Breeann was just 6 months old and Jacob was not walking yet so we didn't go swimming very often. Now my kids need to get used to the water, they do some thing with the water but Breeann is very iffy with going in swimming pools and Jacob doesn't want to have much to do with it either, he will go in fine but is afraid to be let go even in shallow water. I want to help them so they are not so afraid to play in the water (with life jackets of course).

Camping is going to be fun this year. we have already been once and Jacob and Breeann loved it, from the four wheelers and down to the dirt!
